Solarvalue AG, founded in 2005, intends to establish itself as a raw-material supplier in the expanding solar sector.
With the technological breakthrough reached in 2010 Solarvalue was able to produce a silicon-ingot at a purity level that is adequate to produce solar cells. This special manufacturing process gives the possibility to produce solar cells out of commodity silicon economically. With this new process Solarvalue wants to benefit from the growing demand for solar grade silicon in the medium term.
