As from the 2007 financial year, we are voluntarily switching to the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Unlike with the commercial law provisions, which are characterised by the prudence principle and which also form the basis for dividend payout and tax assessment, the IFRS standards put greater emphasis on the information function for the investor.
